Job summary

STE Aethon, Inc is a robotics company delivering autonomous mobile robots for health care and hospitality sectors. The Field Engineer will install equipment, perform go-live support, and handle field-service tasks with new and existing clients.

The role requires travel to customer sites, strong Linux and networking skills, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software components. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Linux/Unix environments and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical/hardware components.
• Experience with robotics integration and workflow optimization.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Automation experience is a plus for field deployments.

Responsibilities

• Install new equipment and add-ons at customer sites.
• Provide go-live and field-service support at customer locations.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams; manage schedules and communications.
• Deliver training using train-the-trainer methods and provide ongoing support.
• Travel for on-site support and issue resolution as needed.
