Job summary

Standard Bots is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software systems on customer production lines. You will design and prove concepts, perform on-site installation, and train operators while traveling to customer sites.

You will be a technical backbone for engagements, building demos, supporting field runs, and collaborating with sales to deliver working automation solutions. A strong hands-on background across three engineering domains is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with industrial automation fundamentals including PLCs, pneumatics, and robot programming.
• Ability to design, commission, and troubleshoot integrated mechanical, electrical and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, program, wire, and commission robotic cells.
• Own the integration from mechanical setup through software configuration and testing.
• Train customers on hardware and software and support post-installation applications.
