Job summary

Field AI is seeking a proactive Field Application Engineer to support deployment, testing, and client-facing operations of cutting-edge robotic systems at our Houston site. The role is designed for recent graduates who thrive in technical and operational environments and will require frequent travel across the country.

You will operate robots in the field, assist with demos, and ensure clear communication between engineers and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS/Robotics/EE/Mechatronics).
• Strong communication skills to translate tech topics for diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the country.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field and support testing and data collection.
• Supervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demos.
• Facilitate clear communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance and usability.
