Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join the Technology Deployment - Systems Integration team in North Reading, MA. You will own development and deployment of advanced fulfillment systems, collaborating with Fulfillment Center Operations and product development engineers to ensure successful delivery from lab to field.

You will build cross-functional relationships, validate processes, and iterate on solutions for safety, stability, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
Experience programming with Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
Experience with Linux/Unix.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, etc.
Experience with AWS Services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS.

Responsibilities

Support the installation of complex cross-functional projects with considerable impact.
Work with internal and external engineering teams to deliver cross-functional projects of high quality.
Establish milestones, drive schedules, and present KPI metrics for project success.
Deep dive technical solutions covering advanced technology, conveyor hardware, and material handling integration.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
