Job summary

Amazon RDPI is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead on-site deployment of robotics and packaging technologies across North America fulfillment centers. You will install, commission, and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical and networked systems while coordinating with engineering, product, and operations teams.

You will travel extensively across the US with up to heavy project travel, guiding teams and driving continuous improvement in deployment processes and site readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Experience in data analysis to inform decision-making processes.
• Experience with CAD models and technical drawings to resolve on-site issues.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide installation of robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at fulfillment centers.
• Develop detailed knowledge of robotic system operation and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting on site and remotely.
• Manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells in fulfillment centers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, PMs, and internal customers including site maintenance.
• Travel to project sites across North America, including live warehouses and new construction sites.
