Job summary

Amazon Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovations (RDPI) is seeking a Robotics Systems Engineer I to deploy industrial robotics across North America fulfillment centers. You will own multi-site deployments, coordinate with hardware engineering, TPMs, and site teams, and drive continuous improvements in safety, quality and productivity.

The role requires travel across the US, handling rapid deployments from alpha to GA, and developing deployment documents while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and systems
• Experience in Linux admin or development
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python/Java
• Ability to read technical drawings and CAD models
• Experience in a 24/7 production environment
• Ability to travel across the US and potentially internationally

Responsibilities

• Owns deployment of large-scale automation across multiple sites
• Collaborates with hardware engineering, PMs, and operations to refine deployment documents
• Improves deployment processes and metrics through automation and optimization
• Mentors junior engineers and contributes to technical assessments
