Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Robotics Systems Engineer for the RDPI Tech Deployment team. You will oversee large-scale deployments of automation across North America stores, coordinating across engineering, program management, and field staff to ensure successful go-lives.

You will travel extensively (up to 75%+), manage installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of robotic systems, and drive improvements while supporting multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Experience in construction/manufacturing/warehouse environments.
• 1+ years' experience with CAD drawings/models (mechanical/electrical).
• 1+ years' experience with mechanical/electrical/IT/networked/software systems.
• Ability to review data to set troubleshoot priorities on complex systems.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in field-based work in construction/warehouse.
• Ability to travel domestically 75%+.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy robotics, packaging and sortation tech at fulfillment centers.
• Lead on-site project management for deployments across North America.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, product managers and operations teams.
• Travel to project sites and coordinate virtual/in-person work for stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget while ensuring milestones.
• Drive continuous improvement ideas around work-scopes and deployments.
