Job summary

JCB Inc. is seeking a Robotic Welding Operator in Pooler, GA to safely run robotic welding equipment and produce components meeting quality targets. You will load fixtures, select approved programs, perform routine checks, and inspect welds to prevent non-conforming production.

The role requires practical welding experience, the ability to read drawings, and completion of robotic welding operator training. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Practical manual welding experience with ability to weld fillers and perform touch-ups.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings, welding symbols and work instructions.
• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and complete robotic welding operator training.
• Inspect weld quality, identify defects and report equipment or fixture issues.
• Pass drug screens, background checks, and pre-employment tests as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use safety and equipment checks and report defects.
• Operate robotic welding equipment following approved procedures.
• Load/unload components, ensure correct positioning in fixtures.
• Select welding programs and operate within authorized settings.
• Inspect welds and perform first-off and in-process checks.
• Weld fillers and perform touch-ups per procedures and standards.
• Identify non-conforming parts and escalate defects.
