Job summary

JCB Inc. in Pooler, GA is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to support the production of skid steers and heavy equipment. You will perform MIG, SMAW, and TIG welds, read blueprints, and fabricate components to exacting standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated MIG welding (GMAW) experience and ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds.
• Ability to pass welding tests and pre-employment requirements (drug screen, background, etc.).
• Must pass applicable background checks and pre-employment tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding operations including MIG, SMAW, and TIG as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and fabrication machinery.
• Perform fabrication tasks including fitting, grinding, cutting, and preparing materials for welding.
• Inspect welds for quality and safety compliance.
• Load and unload parts using material handling equipment and operate fabrication tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects and fabrication issues; support CI initiatives.
