Job summary

JCB North America is seeking an experienced welder to support production of skid steers, backhoe loaders, and other heavy equipment at our Pooler, GA facility. The role emphasizes high-quality welds meeting safety and production standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years welding/fabrication experience, proficiency in MIG (GMAW) and the ability to pass welding tests and pre-employment checks. Strong reading of blueprints and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing.
• Experience with MIG welding (GMAW) and capable of high-quality welds.
• Ability to pass welding test and pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, SMAW, TIG welding as required.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accuracy.
• Set up welding equipment and fixtures.
• Perform fabrication: fitting, grinding, cutting, preparing materials.
• Inspect welds for quality and safety.
• Load/unload parts with material handling equipment.
• Operate press brakes, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects.
• Support CI initiatives to improve quality, safety, efficiency.
• Maintain 5S and PPE compliance.
