Job summary

JCB is seeking an experienced welder at our Pooler, GA facility to perform advanced welding and fabrication for skid steers and heavy equipment. You will read blueprints, set up welding gear, and ensure quality welds in a fast-paced production setting.

The role requires MIG welding proficiency, ability to pass a weld test, and compliance with safety standards. Onsite work with competitive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MIG welding (GMAW) and ability to produce consistent high-quality welds.
• Must pass drug screens, background checks, and pre-employment tests as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding operations including MIG, SMAW, and TIG welding as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings for accuracy.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and fabrication machinery.
• Perform fabrication tasks such as fitting, grinding, cutting, and preparing materials for welding.
• Inspect welds for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to 5S and safety standards.
