JCB North America in Pooler, GA, is seeking a Robotic Welding Operator to safely operate welding robots, load fixtures, select programs, and inspect weld quality. You will support production targets and maintain equipment, while adhering to safety standards and quality procedures.

The role requires manual welding experience, ability to read drawings, and the capacity to run routine checks and document output. This is a full-time position with benefits and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Has practical manual welding experience including fillers and touch-ups to required quality standards.
• Able to read basic engineering drawings, welding symbols and work instructions.
• Can operate manufacturing equipment safely and complete required robotic welding operator training.
• Can inspect weld quality, identify defects and report equipment or fixture issues.
• Must pass drug screens, background checks, and pre-employment tests per applicable law.

Responsabilités

• Complete pre-use safety and equipment checks, reporting defects before operation.
• Operate robotic welding equipment safely, following approved procedures and standard work.
• Load and unload components, ensuring correct positioning and clamping within fixtures.
• Select approved welding programmes and operate within authorised settings.
• Inspect welds and carry out first-off and in-process quality checks.
• Perform weld touch-ups and filler welds per approved procedures.
• Identify non-conforming components and escalate defects.
• Maintain housekeeping and replace consumables as needed.
• Record production output, downtime, scrap and rework; provide shift handovers.
