Job summary

JCB North America in Pooler, GA, seeks an experienced Welder to perform advanced welding and fabrication for skid steers, backhoe loaders, and other heavy equipment. The role requires strong MIG (GMAW), SMAW, and TIG welding skills, reading blueprints, setting up equipment, and ensuring welds meet structural and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be able to pass a weld test and drug screen.
• Experience with MIG welding (GMAW) and high-quality welds required.
• Pass pre-employment checks as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding operations (MIG, SMAW, TIG as needed).
• Read blueprints and weld symbols; set up equipment and fixtures.
• Fabricate, fit, grind, and prepare materials for welding.
• Inspect welds for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow 5S practices.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
