Job summary

International Motors, LLC is seeking a Robotic Weld Engineer - Night Shift in San Antonio, TX, to optimize FANUC welding cells and troubleshoot automation on the production floor. You will drive improvements across advanced manufacturing operations.

You will lead second-shift welding initiatives, support weld schedules and process parameters, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure safety, quality, and uptime. Shift differential applies.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with robotic welding in production environments.
Experience diagnosing weld defects and leading containment, repair, and corrective actions.
Experience with destructive testing, weld-quality validation, and process data analysis.

Responsibilities

Serve as the second-shift welding technical expert on the production floor.
Troubleshoot robotic weld cells, weld schedules, process parameters, fit-up, and equipment issues.
Lead weld repair and containment when defects threaten production and drive corrective actions.
Ensure repairs meet approved methods and quality standards.
Own weld teardown evaluations and identify failure modes.
