International Motors is seeking a Robotic Weld Engineer for night shift in San Antonio, TX. You will optimize robotic weld cells, troubleshoot Fanuc systems, and drive improvements across manufacturing operations.

The role is on-site with a 5:30 PM–4:00 AM schedule, Monday–Thursday, starting early 2027, with 10% night shift differential. You will lead weld-related troubleshooting, containment, and process enhancements, partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to ensure

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Master's degree and no experience is acceptable.
• At least 3 years of product manufacturing experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

Aufgaben

• Serve as second-shift welding technical expert on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot robotic weld cells, weld schedules, parameters, and equipment.
• Lead weld repair and containment to prevent production disruption.
• Ensure repairs follow approved methods and quality standards.
• Own weld tear-down evaluations and identify failure modes.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize welding processes for quality, cycle time, uptime, and safety.
• Read weld schedules, drawings, and process requirements.
• Support robot programming and troubleshooting, Fanuc experience preferred.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering on weld issues.
• Support launches, equipment commissioning, and process validation.
