Job summary

International Motors is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support a growing San Antonio operation on the night shift. The role focuses on troubleshooting, process improvement, and tooling development to maintain production uptime and quality.

Responsibilities include leading downtime investigations, developing PFMEAs and control plans, and partnering with R&D for DFA feedback. The position offers a 10% night shift differential and requires flexibility for extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Master's degree with no experience acceptable.
• At least 3 years of product manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Support production by responding to process issues, equipment faults and downtime events.
• Analyze production data to improve efficiency, quality, throughput and cost.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across assembly operations.
• Develop DFA feedback with R&D for future products and processes.
• Manage projects from concept through implementation including SOWs and specs.
• Develop concepts that improve manufacturability, quality, ergonomics and throughput.
• Create and maintain process flows, PFMEAs, control plans and standardized work.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, technicians and production teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Master's degree

3+ years product manufacturing experience

Tools

Atlas Copco torque tools and controllers

Teamcenter / CAD / digital manufacturing systems
