Job summary

TSMG is seeking a Self-Driving Systems Specialist to support diagnostics, calibration, configuration, and technical readiness of self-driving systems used in autonomous vehicles and robotaxi fleets across North America.

You will work with senior technicians, AV operations leads, safety operators, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, validate hardware, and ensure readiness for testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required for cross-functional collaboration and reporting to engineering and operations teams.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive electronics, diagnostics, embedded systems, robotics, technical support, or similar complex technical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are essential for diagnosing SDS issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot self-driving system issues affecting vehicle performance and fleet readiness.
• Investigate problems related to cameras, LiDAR, radar, GPS/GNSS, compute units, sensors, and related hardware.
• Execute structured diagnostic procedures to identify root causes of SDS hardware, software, and configuration issues.
• Support advanced troubleshooting for faults impacting testing, deployment, or robotaxi fleet availability.
• Escalate complex cases with clear findings and documentation to engineering teams.
• Inspect, repair, replace, and validate SDS hardware components on autonomous vehicles.
• Assist installation and verification of cameras, LiDAR, radar, compute units, and related hardware.
