Job summary

TSMG in San Diego is seeking a Self-Driving Systems Specialist to support the diagnostics, calibration, configuration, and technical readiness of self-driving systems used in autonomous vehicles and robotaxi fleets across North America.

You will work with senior technicians, AV operations leads, and fleet teams to identify issues, perform structured troubleshooting, and ensure high availability of SDS for testing, deployment, and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in automotive electronics, diagnostics, embedded systems, robotics, or related technical fields.
• Fluent English with strong written and spoken communication.
• Experience using diagnostic tools, logs, and engineering instructions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot SDS issues affecting vehicle performance and fleet readiness.
• Inspect and verify SDS hardware installations, sensors, and compute units.
• Perform software configuration, updates, and validation checks for autonomous driving systems.
• Assist calibration workflows for cameras, LiDAR, radar, GNSS, and localization systems.
• Provide structured technical findings to engineering and operations teams.
