Job summary

TSMG is seeking a Self-Driving Systems Specialist to support diagnostics, calibration, configuration, and readiness of autonomous vehicle systems across North America. The role focuses on sensors, compute systems, software configurations, and hardware validation to ensure safe testing and deployment.

You will collaborate with Senior Technicians, AV Operations Leads, Safety Operators, engineering teams, and fleet operations to troubleshoot issues, validate performance, and maintain documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in automotive electronics, diagnostics, embedded systems, robotics, or complex technical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience with vehicle electronics, sensors, control systems, or advanced hardware.
• Comfortable following structured software procedures and technical workflows.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot self-driving system issues affecting vehicle performance and fleet readiness.
• Inspect, repair, replace, and validate SDS hardware components in autonomous vehicles.
• Perform software updates, configuration changes, and system validation checks for autonomous driving systems.
• Perform calibration and verification activities for autonomous vehicle sensors and SDS components.
• Provide structured technical findings to engineering, fleet operations, and project teams.
• Maintain records of diagnostics, repairs, software updates, and calibration activities.
