Job summary

TSMG is seeking a Self-Driving Systems Specialist to support diagnostics, calibration, configuration, and readiness of self-driving systems in autonomous vehicles and robotaxi fleets across North America. You will work with technicians, operations leads, safety teams, and engineers to troubleshoot issues and ensure readiness for testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive electronics, diagnostics, embedded systems, robotics, or complex technical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience with vehicle electronics, sensors, or advanced hardware.
• Ability to follow structured software procedures and technical workflows.
• Good communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot self-driving system issues affecting vehicle performance and fleet readiness.
• Investigate problems related to cameras, LiDAR, radar, GNSS, compute units, sensors, connectivity, and SDS hardware.
• Execute diagnostic procedures to identify root causes of hardware, software, and configuration issues.
• Support advanced troubleshooting for faults impacting testing or robotaxi operations.
• Escalate complex cases with clear findings and documentation.
• Inspect, repair, replace, and validate SDS hardware components.
• Assist installation and verification of sensors and compute hardware.
• Perform software updates and configuration changes with validation checks.
• Maintain records of software versions, configurations, and results.
• Ensure calibration and validation of sensors post-maintenance.
