DoorDash Labs, part of DoorDash, is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist, Robot (Shift Lead) to lead a team of operators on assigned shifts and ensure smooth daily operations. You will foster accountability and excellence while addressing escalations and keeping management informed.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills, with a 4/10 AM/PM rotation (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat) and a focus on robotics-enabled last‑mile operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, ideally in operations, logistics, or robotics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively to team members and leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Adaptable and solution‑oriented in fast‑paced or unexpected situations.
• Proficiency in using operational tools and software for tracking tasks and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide a team of operators during shifts.
• Maintain and enforce deployment schedules, addressing delays and break schedules.
• Serve as main point of contact between team and management during shifts.
• Provide actionable feedback to team and leadership, and escalate issues when needed.
• Support ad hoc tasks and proactively resolve operational roadblocks, ensuring accountability.
