Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a Head of Central Robot Operations to build and scale the operational backbone for autonomous robot delivery. You will define the operating model, governance, and teams spanning Remote Assistance, Mapping, Expansion, Infrastructure, and Program Management.

You will lead a 24/7 mission-critical operation, partnering with Engineering, Product, Safety, Legal, and Market Operations to reduce human intervention and accelerate global launches.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in operations, robotics, or related large-scale environments.
• Experience building and leading cross-functional ops organizations.
• Experience in fleets, command centers, infrastructure, analytics, or expansion.
• Strong ability to translate data into executive recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define and scale the central robot operations operating model and roadmap.
• Lead remote assistance, mapping, expansion, and infrastructure programs.
• Build governance, dashboards, and KPI systems for fleet health.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Safety, Legal, and Market Ops.
• Drive 24/7 readiness, SLAs, staffing models, and incident response.
• Lead PMO and executive reporting rhythms.
