Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Roadway / Utility Superintendent for Raleigh area projects. You will lead day and night crews on highway, roadway, and utility work, coordinating DOT inspections, safety programs, and resource scheduling.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy civil or utility supervision, DOT project experience, and the ability to read plans and manage quantities. Relocation to the Triangle area is welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil roadway/underground utility experience at superintendent or senior foreman level.
• DOT roadway or utility project experience; night work is a plus.
• Ability to read plans and specs; keep quantities.
• Willing to work day or night shifts as needed.
• Solid work-zone traffic control knowledge.
• Valid driver''s license required.
• NCDOT project experience is a plus; OSHA 30 is a plus.
• Experience with field tracking tools (HCSS HeavyJob) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run day and night shift field operations on roadway and utility projects.
• Lead roadway, grading and underground utility crews and foremen.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, equipment and material deliveries.
• Plan the work and maintain the project schedule shift-to-shift.
• Own jobsite safety, toolbox talks and OSHA compliance on every shift.
• Set up and manage traffic control and lane closures inside approved work windows.
• Work with NCDOT inspectors and project engineers.
• Track installed quantities and daily production.
• Complete daily reports and field documentation.
• Coordinate handoffs with the project manager and the other shift.
