Job summary

William Charles Construction in Springfield, IL is hiring an experienced Roadway Project Manager to lead field operations, safety planning, contract administration, and budgeting on road and highway projects in the Central Illinois region.

You will coordinate subcontractors and vendors, manage change orders, and produce weekly cost and schedule updates using P6 or MS Project along with HCSS HeavyJob, Procore, and Vista Viewpoint.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Project Management in concrete production and road/bridge projects.
• Experience with estimating software such as HCSS or B2W.
• Scheduling proficiency with P6 or Microsoft Project.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and contract administration, including safety and scheduling.
• Create and manage budgets, cost accounting, and change orders.
• Manage Subcontractor and Vendor relationships and risk exposure.
• Submit monthly cost-to-complete projections and track quantities.
• Coordinate equipment, personnel, and means/methods for projects.
