Job summary

William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager for project oversight in Central Illinois with 50% travel. The role focuses on field operations, safety, scheduling, and budget management across road/highway projects.

Requirements include a CM or Civil Eng degree and 5–10 years of PM experience. Proficiency in HCSS/Procore and MS Project is preferred; OSHA 30 is desirable. Includes comprehensive benefits and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field; combined education/experience allowed.
• 5–10 years of Project Management in concrete production, slipform paving, curb and gutter, and bridge deck placement.
• Experience with HCSS or B2W estimating and scheduling tools; proficient in MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and contract administration, focusing on safety, personnel, schedules, and procurement.
• Develop and manage budgets, cost tracking, and change orders with stakeholders.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor relations, mitigating risk and cost overruns.
• Plan equipment needs, staffing, means/methods, and timeline updates.
• Report weekly progress, cost-to-complete projections, and schedule impacts.
