William Charles Construction is seeking an experienced Roadway Project Manager for our Springfield, IL area. The role focuses on leading field operations, contract administration, budgeting, and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of roadway project management experience, with expertise in scheduling tools (P6/MS Project) and construction tech (HCSS Heavyjob, Procore, Vista Viewpoint). Travel is required; a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of project management in heavy civil and roadway construction.
• Experience with field operations, contract administration, and budgeting.

Responsabilités

• Manage field operations, safety, subcontract scheduling, procurement and schedule.
• Develop and manage budgets; track costs and change orders.
• Maintain cost accounting, schedules, and logs; coordinate with vendors and subs.
• Oversee change orders and ensure alignment with contract terms.
