The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Monroe County seeks a Roadway Programs Technician Supervisor for the Department of Transportation. This role directs maintenance efforts, evaluates needs, guides staff, and monitors resources to keep roadway programs on track.

Key duties include coordinating roadway and bridge maintenance, planning work plans, monitoring budgets, overseeing inventory, and leading staff. Typical schedule is 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

One year of experience as a Roadway Programs Technician 2 or equivalent.
Two years in roadway maintenance analysis, development and implementation, or an associate/bachelor degree as specified.
Ability to meet PA residency requirements and possess a valid Class C driver's license.
Willingness to work overtime and shift hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Monitor roadway and bridge maintenance programs and guide staff in daily operations.
Assist in developing and adjusting the Annual Work Plan throughout the year.
Review fiscal reports, track funds, and advise on resource needs.
Supervise receipt, storage, and issuance of tools, materials, and equipment.
Plan and evaluate staff work and provide training and guidance.
Review reports to recommend adjustments for scheduled maintenance.
