Qualifications

• Active PA Class A or B CDL with Air Brake Restriction removed.
• FMCSA Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
• Active certification by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to operate heavy trucks and loaders, plus two additional construction equipment, within probationary period.
• Tank Vehicle Endorsement (N) required during probationary period.
• Drug and Alcohol testing in accordance with Federal Regulations.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
• Preferred: ability to demonstrate operation of equipment with a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, loaders, and snow plow attachments for maintenance and winter operations.
• Use motorized and hand tools to clean culverts, cut brush, erect signs, and repair guiderails and bridges.
• Perform minor repairs, make field adjustments, and clean equipment to support safe operation.
• Follow safety procedures, identify hazards, and report injuries, accidents, and near misses.
• Assist mechanics, install tire chains, and manage tools and equipment to support daily operations.
