Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Roadway Programs Technician 2 (Commonwealth or Federal equivalent).
• Two years of experience in analysis, development and implementation of roadway maintenance methods.
• Bachelor's degree in listed fields or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Educational requirements may be met within 3 months of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Program Oversight: Monitor roadway and bridge maintenance programs and guide staff in daily operations.
• Work Plan Support: Assist county leaders in developing and adjusting the Annual Work Plan throughout the year.
• Budget Monitoring: Review fiscal reports, track funds, advise management on resource needs.
• Inventory Control: Supervise receipt, storage, and issuing of tools, materials, and equipment.
• Staff Leadership: Plan and evaluate the work of subordinates and provide training and guidance.
• Operational Evaluation: Review reports to adjust scheduled maintenance work.
