Job summary

HNTB Corporation in North Texas is seeking a Roadway Engineer III to design and modify roadway calculations, reports, and plans. You will work with project managers and discipline leads to ensure timely delivery of quality roadway designs for transportation projects in Dallas/Fort Worth.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent advanced degrees, and proficiency in design software. PE is preferred; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering and 3 years, or PhD in Engineering and 2 years.
• Experience applying engineering, geometric and algebraic principles in project design and analysis.
• Proficiency with design software such as MicroStation, Geopak, InRoads/OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned roadway design work within schedule and hours.
• Assist in development of project specifications and discipline deliverables (reports, designs, plans).
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
