Job summary

HNTB is seeking a senior engineer to lead the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for complex infrastructure projects. You will consult with the project manager, apply design criteria, mentor junior staff, and contribute to successful project delivery across multi-discipline teams.

Locations include Dallas, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Little Rock, AR; Plano, TX (Granite Parkway). Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required for entry into the role.
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred and can substitute.
• PhD in Engineering is advantageous for seniority and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering design criteria to complex cross-discipline projects.
• Lead planning, work distribution, and adherence to schedule and budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Coordinate with clients and teaming partners to deliver project scope.
• Oversee completeness and accuracy of the project team’s work.
