Job summary

Consor is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead portions of complex transportation design projects in Texas. You will apply engineering judgment, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with project engineers to deliver accurate, efficient, and constructible design solutions.

You will prepare detailed design plans, perform advanced calculations, and coordinate multidisciplinary design activities while supporting project engineers with QC reviews and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation engineering design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with MicroStation & OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead portions of transportation design projects and provide advanced technical support.
• Lead preparation of detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform advanced design calculations and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate design activities among multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• Assist project engineers and managers with quality control reviews and schedule tracking.
