Job summary

Consor is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead drainage design components for transportation projects in Texas. You will perform advanced hydraulic analyses, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with project engineers to deliver accurate, efficient drainage solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation drainage design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with MicroStation & OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed drainage design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects, including stormwater management and conveyance systems.
• Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate drainage design activities among multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Assist project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and drainage-related design deliverables.
