Job summary

Consor is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead portions of complex transportation design projects in roadway, multimodal, and intersection design. You will apply engineering judgment, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with project engineers and managers to deliver accurate, constructible solutions.

The role requires a BS in civil engineering, 2+ years of Texas transportation design experience, and an EIT certification.

Qualifications

• BS in civil engineering is required.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation engineering design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with MicroStation & OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Perform advanced design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate design activities among multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Assist project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and design deliverables.
