Job summary

Consor is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead portions of complex transportation design projects, applying engineering judgment and mentoring junior designers.

You'll collaborate with project engineers and managers to deliver accurate, efficient, and constructible designs for roadways, multimodal facilities, and intersections in Texas. This role offers hybrid/remote options for eligible positions and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation engineering design experience.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Perform advanced design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate design activities among multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Assist project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and design deliverables.
