Job summary

Consor is seeking a roadway design engineer to support transportation improvement projects. You will assist with geometry, alignments and cross-sections while contributing to design documentation and quantity calculations.

The role requires familiarity with design codes and the ability to perform engineering calculations and data collection for surveys. The position operates in a hybrid setting between office and field, with potential exposure to weather and on-site conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D software.
• Hybrid office/field environment with exposure to outdoor conditions.
• Physical duties include sitting, standing, lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts and cross-sections.
• Support design team in documentation, plans and reports for tasks and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect data for topographic surveys and right‑of‑way design.
