Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related emergencies for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires, often roadside, with duties that include mounting, dismounting, and tire maintenance.

Training is provided; experience isn’t required. The role includes an on-call rotation with after-hours service calls paid at double-time and potential bonuses for performance. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting and repairing tires.
• Perform match mounting and match mating dual assemblies.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including PPE and tire cages.
