Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related emergencies for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or replace tires, with on-call shifts and after-hours work as part of a team.

No prior experience required; you will be trained on required skills and safety procedures. The role offers a pathway to develop hands-on tire service expertise in a nationwide service network.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous Commercial Service Tire experience.

Responsibilities

Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE and safety procedures.
