Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire failures for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires and may assist in mounting orders, cleaning, and organizing the shop when idle.

No prior experience required; you will be trained. The role includes mandatory on-call rotation with after-hours calls paid at a premium, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience isn't required for this position; you will be trained in any skills required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including; how wear proper PPE, use tire cages, and follow all other safety policies and procedures.
