Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to provide emergency tire service for semi-truck fleets, responding to tire failures at customer locations. The role includes mounting, repair work, and after-hours on-call responsibilities with double-time pay after hours.
Primary duties include tire servicing, safety compliance per OSHA, and supporting shop tasks when calls are slow. Eligible candidates must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be legally authorized
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and legal to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Respond to tire-related failures at customer locations and dispatches.
- Perform mounting, dismounting, and repair of tires and runout checks.
- Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements and maintain safety procedures.
- Support shop duties during low call periods and keep workspace organized.
