Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our emergency response tire service for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires, often roadside, with a focus on safety and efficiency. This role includes an on-call rotation, after-hours double-time pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Valid driver's license, 21+ years of age, and work authorization in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE and safety procedures.
