Job summary

The Auto Club Group in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside service calls, assist stranded motorists with jump-starts, tire changes, and lockouts, and tow vehicles when needed.

You will work on the road, utilize tablets for calls and records, complete DOT inspections, keep the vehicle clean, and strive for high member satisfaction with safe, professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
• Comfort using GPS, tablets, and mobile apps.
• Must pass drug screen, MVRS, background check, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance requests using a tow truck or service vehicle.
• Provide emergency roadside services: tire changes, fuel delivery, battery testing/installation, jump starts, lockout assistance.
• Safely tow disabled vehicles following procedures and towing guidelines.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver outstanding customer service on every interaction.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, professional service vehicle.
• Utilize tablets to manage calls and access procedures.
• Document daily activities, service calls, and vehicle logs.
