Job summary

The Auto Club Group in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to respond to roadside assistance requests and provide emergency services to AAA members.

You will operate a service vehicle, perform tire changes, jump starts, fuel delivery, and lockouts, and assist with towing when required. You’ll need to stay alert on the road, document daily activity, and maintain DOT inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required and the candidate must be able to pass background checks and DOT qualifications.
• Strong customer service mentality with the ability to communicate professionally in the field.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the road.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside requests using a tow truck or service vehicle.
• Provide emergency roadside services including tire changes, fuel delivery, battery testing and installation, jump starts, and lockout assistance.
• Safely tow disabled vehicles following procedures and document all activities.
