Job summary

The Auto Club Group in St. Petersburg, FL, is seeking a Service Vehicle Operator to assist AAA members on the road, respond to service calls, perform tire changes, jump-starts, lockouts, and safe towing.

This field-based role requires strong customer service, safe driving, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Training is provided along with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Must pass drug screening, MVR, background check and DOT physical.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Comfort with GPS and mobile tech.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must complete AAA training programs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance requests using a service vehicle.
• Provide emergency roadside services (tire changes, fuel delivery, jump starts, lockouts).
• Tow disabled vehicles following procedures and guidelines.
• Verify AAA membership and deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, professional service vehicle.
• Document daily activities and service calls.
• Maintain valid DOT certification and driving record.
