Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Roadside Service Tech Flatbed in Massachusetts to deliver safe, high-quality roadside assistance. You will respond to member requests, perform minor mechanical tasks, and tow vehicles when needed, while promoting AAA services.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21, hold a valid driver’s license, and pass DOT pre-hire checks. This is a 24/7 role with varied shifts and strong emphasis on safety and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Post-secondary training in automotive mechanics and familiarity with electrical troubleshooting required.
• Active and valid driver’s license issued by one state.
• DOT card pre-hire and as a current employee within 1 year required.
• Satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check during pre-hire screening and periodically during employment.

Responsibilities

• Accept calls and respond with ETA; assess safety on arrival and ensure safe location.
• Provide minor mechanical assistance and towing per standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment; perform safety checks and inventory management.
• Promote AAA products and services to members; assist dispatch to get members to destinations.
• Work independently in a 24/7 operation with flexibility across shifts.
