Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 roadside cases from start to finish, deciding on internal vs third-party dispatch to quickly restore uptime.

You will resolve complex vehicle issues using diagnostics, OEM knowledge, and problem-solving skills while communicating with customers during breakdowns. You will mentor Tier 1 agents, provide status updates, and contribute to continuous improvement in field operations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with technical certification preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving vehicle electrical/mechanical issues.
• Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish.
• Decide on internal technician dispatch or third-party repair to resolve issues.
• Provide updates and analysis to improve uptime and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center staff and share technical training.
