Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented Roadside Event Specialist II to lead operational efforts for large-scale events and campaigns. You will coordinate with drivers, customers, and service providers to maintain event flow, approve high-dollar repairs, and ensure prompt responses to instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (logistics, transportation, automotive technology). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as an advanced degree or certification or 5 years of experience in a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in previous role with Cox Fleet as a Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email.
• Great communication skills by phone, email and in person.
• Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operational needs of any major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents, police impounds and more.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and that any other customer instructions for equipment are handled promptly.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is being followed at the highest possible level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
