Job summary

Cox Automotive Fleet in the United States is seeking a Roadside Event Specialist II to manage major events, coordinate with drivers and service providers, and ensure timely repairs and accurate estimates.

You will handle high-dollar approvals, incidents such as accidents or impounds, maintain customer communication, and ensure billing accuracy, with a focus on strong multitasking and top-notch service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years’ experience in logistics/transportation or automotive tech; advanced degree or certs may substitute for experience.
• 1+ year of Cox Fleet experience as Follow Up/Breakdown/Managed Care preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for data entry, word processing and email.
• Excellent communication by phone, email and in person.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational needs of major events, including high-dollar repair approvals and situations such as accidents or police impounds.
• Ensure timely response for repairs and adherence to customer instructions for equipment.
• Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
• Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
• Ensure customer protocol is followed at the highest level.
• Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with the service provider.
