Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Battery Service Technician to provide fast, safe roadside battery services for members, including testing, installation, and diagnostic support. You will respond to service requests, communicate ETA, and ensure a secure, positive experience for members while maintaining vehicle readiness.

You will perform battery testing, advise on the right battery, and conduct on-the-spot replacements when needed, while following safety procedures and club policies.

Qualifications

• Battery testing and servicing on-site.
• Diagnostic testing on electrical/vehicle systems.
• Provide roadside assistance and ensure member safety.

Responsibilities

• Responds to member requests for service and provides ETA.
• Assesses scene safety and positions vehicle for service.
• Greets members and manages emotional states.
• Explains battery program and recommends battery type.
• Performs battery testing and on-the-spot replacements when needed.
