Job summary

AAA Topeka is seeking full-time drivers to join our Roadside Assistance team. You’ll assist members with tire changes, jumpstarts, towing and related services, often outdoors in varying weather.

You’ll work a base rate of $21.15/hour with a 10% shift differential for second shift, plus overtime and monthly bonuses. Comprehensive benefits include PTO, 401(k) with match, and health plans. Paid training and uniforms are provided. Must be 21+, HS diploma, valid license, and able to pass a DOT exam.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license for the state of residence and meet state/local licensing requirements.
• Ability to pass a physical examination as required by DOT and company policy.
• 3 years of experience in automotive/mechanical environment, or 3 years in sales/customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts and tire change services.
• Provide tow and recovery services (Tow Truck Driver position only).
• Communicate with members to keep them informed and safe.
• Make sound decisions regarding safe service of vehicles and member needs.
• Enter call information into in-truck technology, process payments and complete reports.
